Yeah, the name sucks, but that's irrelevant!
This is an original monster design of mine, still in an early stage, as far as basic depth and line thickness goes. Even though it still looks pretty rough, I would really like some good criticism on the piece so far. Any shred of advice, any minute observation would be very helpful. Also, I need some suggestions on coloring media. Do you think it would make a good Photoshop piece, or would it look better with simple pencil shading?
I posted on this sight first because I have great admiration for the many superb artists here, and I can only hope you'll grace me with your advice.
*UPDATE*
Well, just because I didn't get a reply doesn't mean I'm going to give up, damnit! For this update, i cleaned the whole thing up and changed the crotch plate. People said it looked like a tongue before, and well... tongues as crotchplates are just BAD.
