Hi everyone,
we are looking for an artist who'd like to work with us on a short shoot'em up game which will be created for a 60 day competition. Read further for more infos...

Team name:
None yet

Project name:
Dragon Shmup (Working Title)

Brief description:
This short game will be created for the "Draogn Compo" at [link]. In this competition the entries must create a dragon shmup within 60 days (starting today at 1st May). Our project will be a 2D Shoot'em Up game featuring a dragon in a fantasy/gothic setting. We will have forced horizontal scrolling and will focus on a fast paced gameplay with simple but challenging level and enemydesign.

Target aim:
Our aim is to get one of the top places in the competition. We will try our best and if the competitors are surpassing us we will at least make a pretty good game within the given 60 days.

Compensation:
There are a lot of prizes to win for the first three places. If we get into one of the top positions the prizes will be shared among the teammembers. Jacob or me are not really participating for the prizes it is more the fun and the challenge to create a good game within the time limit. So I think there won't be any arguments about the prizes.

Technology:
Target system: PC
Language: C++
Graphics: 2d sprites in Direct 3d

Talent needed:
One dependable Artist - 2d sprites & backgrounds (pre-rendered or handdrawn)

Moving this to the non-paying jobs section, since payment is not guarenteed. Good luck!
