I'm looking for a penciler/comic book artist. Someone who's real good w/ panel work and good w/ drawing faces/human emotion. This isn't really a super hero comic where people are wearing masks or cool custumes in every page. It's sort of like Matrix meets Gone With the Wind. Looking for a Jim Lee-like artist living in Los Angeles or the OC.
This is a 6-issue mini series. Issue #1 and #2 each needs 44 pages of art. The remaining 4 issues each will need 28 pages of art. Pay is $45/page + 10% of the licensing netprofits off your art (for example, if we put your art on a poster, calender, trading cards, or if it's used for an action figure- you'll get 10% of the net profits). (This is assuming you stick around for all 6 issues). You'll be paid once a week. You must be able to complete one page a day (at least).
I also would like to know:
- What's your favorite book and comic books?
- Who are you favorite artists?
Of course email me sample panels you've done or send me a link to your website of panel work.
