ok #1 crit here is to ease up on the dodge/burn tool, shadows are not just added black and higlights are not just added white so using that tool really takes away from the belivability of the image. here's a crash course in color theroy as it relates to digital paining and lighting if you need somewhere to start:http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm Your brushstrokes are a little too distracting as well as they look very jittery. I like the dragon/heart graphic you have in the background.

Well i am realizing that im not a great artist compared to many...

...but i dig this piece! the dragons in the background are in fact really cool. the image itself has a comic/manga feel that i love. (i have about 20 manga art books...) the expressions on their faces are nice too.

definitely take that lighting suggestion and run with it. you should be putting out really good work soon!

The guys hands are tiny for someone so large. Make them larger and curling around her arms further.
