It's been a LOOOOOONG time since I've posted here - but I'm trying to get back into drawing, so I thought I'd get involved with these forums again and get inspired and motivated to keep a daily sketchbook. Crits and comments welcome! :D

Pretty good character drawings here Sanejack, you catch the expressions well, espescially with the girl. Although, it'd be nice to see a bit more variety with the characters your drawing, seemed like you branched off to a different one here: http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/5040/sk74da.jpg which looks ace. While im not expecting more character drawings of that specifically, other designs for different characters would be good ;).

Also, it might'n be a bad idea to start on backgrounds and landscapes while your getting back into the scheme of things :)..

Good luck with getting back into drawing though dude, you got the nice free & loose line qualities happening here.

thx, dude! I hear ya, I hear ya. Very true. I'm gonna try to vary my styles a bit more in the next few posts. I've been playing around with environments and stuff, but I'm not too good at it. It's tough drawin' scenery!

good lookin' out, Fafnir. :painting:

This thread still doesn't have 5 stars yet?!

I think it's good to play with new styles, but please don't lose this style it's awesome..like J Scott Campbell mixed with Disney or something, very cool. I would totally get a comic with your stuff..no doubt. Keep posting more!

this is a teaser-like poster for a comic I'm working on - a story set in the old west about a vampire hunter. I know, not completely original, but oh well

Is this a for fun project or will I be able to buy this at some point?..cause I have money right now.

that's a great drawing love her face very cute and the pose too. Did you do the logo yourself?

If I was to crit something maybe the text at the top..maybe make it like the burnt old west type.

thanks Madman! I'm serious about the project, but it's also for fun. However, this is my first attempt at a comic book, so it might be a while before you see anything finished and able to buy :( Yeah, the logo is my design too - I also do some graphic design on the side. I agree about the "Wanted: Undead or Alive" thing - I'm gonna have to play around with it some more.
thx again for the feedback!

Saw you around somewhere, sorry to bump your out of date sketchbook. I must have colored some of the lines you submitted to the New Media Coloring Book a dozen times, was good to see you back.

So, update your sketchbook ya bum!
Also, you mind if I steal a few things to color every now and then?
