Several anatomy flaws - work on that. But that's what everyone gets.
If you've been reading Frank Miller, I'd think you could do something more
daring with that black and white. Play with them like Miller does, and don't
go outlining everything in white. Look at how abstract Miller's work looks
sometimes, and how our minds make it into something recognizable. Use that.
Try that. It's very hard, I know that trough personal experience, but with a
guide like Miller by your side you're on the right track.
Same goes for all the little details you add. Why so detailed? Why the fine
point pen? Look at how Miller does those bulletholes. Don't be afraid to leave
those details out of it. It'll add to the legibility of the picture. Simplify it until
all you have left is the real essential thing. The killer, the body, the moon.
Lose the crosshatching. Doesn't go with this style and it lures the eye away
from the main subject.
Of course, maybe you didn't want to do a Miller piece and then this is allright,
except for the crosshatching, the unnessecary details and the composition.
Could you post the pictures underneath eachother?
Makes them easier to view as different pieces.
