-note about the Guild Wars art team post-

Hi guys,

let me take a moment to explain what happened earlier with the Guild Wars Factions concept art post. The members of the ArenaNet art team who post on CA.org posted a cross-section of some of the art that will appear in the Official Guild Wars Faction Art Book that will be included with the special edition of WCF package. Because of legal reasons, we had to take down the art. However after May 20th we have permission to post even more art! We'll be putting up all of our artwork then, but hopefully in the meantime, you guys go out and buy Factions! Check out some of the art and screenshots at www.guildwars.com

Sorry for the mix up, and please accept a heartfelt thank you from the entire art staff for your extremely kind words.

Thanks again for the nice things you've all said, and the professionalism the board has showed toward our situation! You guys are awesome, makes me stoked to be part of this comunity.

As for a standalone book, I WISH there was something like that, but right now there are no plans for it that I know of. I woulda' bought the artbook from WoW, but they only sold it with the game. You guys'll be the first to know about an art book for sure! Trust me, we all want it :)

Yeah that was an amazing thread looks like I will just have to get the game eventhough I can't play it on a Mac..damn.

Also for the WoW artbook you can now get the book separate at Gamestop. I just got mine a couple weeks ago and every store I've been in is carrying them and you don't have to get the game. Since you're from Seattle, they have them at the Southcenter Mall..called something else now I can never remember and also at the Gamestop in the Barnes and Noble across the street from Southcenter Mall and I believe I saw them at the Sec-Tac mall in Federal way too.

my bad guys- I didn't give an update... We've been asked to hold of off on posting the stuff until further notice... we'll be posting them soon, but I honestly dont know when that will be. I'll check in as soon as I know anything- but trust me we're all stoked to post, so the second we're allowed to, it'll all be up again! :)

-in the mean time, if you wanna play a sweet new MMO w/ no monthly fee, you can go pick up a special edition copy of Guild Wars Factions with the artbook inside! ;) nothing wrong w/ a shameless plug once in a while haha
