The sketches are a little off. Your pencil skills need work. The paintings are beautiful, though. I especially like the one of the forest.

Okay. The way you're stroking in shadows is flattening the image. You're simply scribbling back and forth, totally omitting the shape of the face. When you add shadows, move your pencil like it is hugging the form. Accentuate the curves of the nose; the roundness of the cheeks. Do not just scribble back and forth. You'd be surprised how much of an impact this can have.

Secondly - slow down! Your pencil sp's seem a little hastily rendered. Take the extra time to get the shapes of the hair, the folds of the clothing. You'll have a much nicer piece for it. Even if they're just for practice, at least draw in all the shapes of the hair, and block in shadows. You don't have to make it perfect - just get the idea down.

The eyes seem a little large in the third down. Too wide.

Still, the accuracy seems nice (as far as I know, I have no idea what you look like). The creativity and variety in these is really something. Just keep plugging away, you're very talented.

Great work, you are on your way and that's all there is, the way, no where to go, it's all in the going. I am especially fond of the black birds on shoulders. I have a black bird tattooed on my shoulder - good medicine. That piece doesn't look finished, perhaps the shirt, what if it was solid black?
