Although, it looks like he is suffering from Elaphantiasis of the arm with the large bicep bulge and the smaller shoulder area. Maybe it would look better if you rounded out the shoulder muscles more?...

Overall, I like the pose and the character. Good work there.

my onion:
i dont want to piss you off, but i think it could use a lot more work.(there is always room for improvement) i think it isnt at a 'finished piece' status. i would move it into the work in progress thread and ask the community what could help this piece if you want it to be stellar.
but i dont like this painting very much. :(
