I'll have a go...I travel four of the days between now and the 29th. So I hope it is either only one character, or you extend the deadline. Also...it might be nice to assign the character randomly :$ that might push peeps out of their comfort zone. That means one person per character...but it still is a challenge as to who produces the best one...just my two ce...damn that wasn't two that was ten cents :P

yeah I aint really gunna be able to do something that quick either. Im trying to get some pieces for my portfolio so in the instance a speedy aint gunna cut it.
A fair few people seem to be wanted to use oils, so if we can make the deadline the 7th thats cool, otherwise I don't think ima have enough free time to participate.

I really like the feel of the upper right. Kinda reminiscent of your painting of Hell, just tight in on the character. I also like the one beneath it, but it might be a touch too ape-ish.

hmm well Loizze said "don't let us know" what characters we're going to be doing soooo :/. Not sure. Either way those are real cool WIP's :D I especially like the "over the shoulder whirl" a la Zoolander :D. Very actiony and Hulk SMASH!!!! It's also got that great sense of character "weight" and stability that goes along with The Hulk... do that one!!! I'll lose horribly if you do that one but do that one just the same :D Don't tell us if you're going to do that one but do that one!!! LOL.

Cool Ironman Sundance :D. Tonnyyyy Stark! It might help to "force" yourself to spread light if you use some kind of gradient on top of your sketch (just a simple one colour to other colour fade thingie in Photoshop or Painter or whatever it is ou use!):9.
