Hey,

I have had this question for a long time.

When i look at some of the digital art out here (for instance Android's self portraits, notibly the 6 may one) it seems that the brushstrokes he uses have different angles, i.e. the brush was 'turned' around is axis.

When i try to setup painter to do this i can never get it to work. I want to be able to do that though, since now i stick to the oil pastel and square chalk since i cant control my edges otherwise.

I have Painter 6, this may be a problem. I have a Wacom Intuos (3 years old).

Please tell me how it is done! It will make so much difference!

(sorry to post this here but i feel more people would read it)

Thanx!
Erik

Pehaps it is the Age of your Intuos... I have an Intuos 2 bought a little less than a year ago and Painter 6, and the tilt and angle feature work just fine without changing any settings. In fact I unplug my Intuos all the time since I have only 2 usb ports and several other regularly used devices. It should be working for you no problem... It can be sort of tricky; try using the pallette knife tool on a blank canvas and mess around, if that doesn't work then maybe try updating your drivers and getting the patch for painter 6.

Hey thanx...

Hope it's not the age, since that would be expensive :-/

But it can be done, thta's the main point. now to get it to work on my pc.

Well, DL-ing the drivers worked.

Now i only have to learn to work with it and control it ;-)

Thank you so much! Now i feel like the tools are finally complete.
