Hello all. Been extremely inspired by Shawn Barber and Coro's work as of late and have been trying to teach myself to paint. Here is my latest work in chronological order from oldest to newest. Please crit away.

You're doing good.
Try laying down a thin brown wash over the drawing first so that you're not left with those annoying white spaces.
Your drawing may have to be a little darker for this so you don't loose it. Don't be afraid to make it a little messy. Paint is messy, it's one of its finest features.

I just got started doing acrylics myself and am struggling, its a tough medium after focusing on just drawing and digital paintings. Anyways they look like you're off to a good start though, keep 'em coming!

Traditional ways are always harder than computer based. Its all manual with traditional.
I did a project on studying acrylics and I seemed to get too frustrated with it. My paintings werent as polished as these so I guess they are better ^^ Keep em coming.
If you find you are too restricted when it comes to blending and the drying times, try oil paints.
