Characters!, anatomy studies!, faces and your posts

Hi everyone! Welcome to my load of drawings. These are all studies since I’m still up against a STEEP learning curve. I am starting to improve thou. Pleas feel free to give any crits and suggestions.

This is done without reference, like all my stuff since I just started this year at an art academy and have never had the opportunity to draw live models

Wow Renier

These are all excellent figure studies. Apart from the odd eye-level in the last face, I don't really have crits. But I do have a suggestion: perhaps try to exaggerate your muscles and bones - these are fairly realistic, but I think you can learn more by emphasising certain features, especially muscles. I think it would also give you a better indication of any areas that need attention.

This is great work - definitely gonna keep tabs on this thread nya.
Post more soon!

Watch your proportions, you have very tiny heads on your figures. Start studying your anatomy as well. Your charcoal drawing came out very nice.

I like the charcoal drawing, it has an antique feel to it. Keep practicing your anatomy and faces.

Smitherines – Thanks! You’re right about the heads. I just started focusing on that after I had my first live figure drawing (measuring it with a penciled)
