Honestly, I think it's pretty much perfect for a portfolio website. Simple, easy to navigate and the thumbnails are clear, so you can see what you're clicking on. Nothing too fancy. Nice!

I have not much to say. It looks good and is easy to use. I wouldn't add a guestbook for your portfolio site.
Good job.

YES! for easy to navigate, simplistic design portfolios. I'm so very tired of over-the-top fancy art sites. Too hard to get where you're going and not enough content. Are you going to occationally change out the "header" image?

I really like it too, Jens. Perhaps a logo with your name or something.... or if you could somehow carry over that black line to the other end of the screen. I'm just thinking in terms of the design of the actual site. It looks really fresh tho, man. Did you do this in Dreamweaver? I love being able to see a bunch of your work at once! Thanks for the new link! ;)

Yeah, if I had to make one suggestion it would be intergrating the two sides of the site, to make it viusally work better.

100% agreed.
The sketches are really fun. I was hoping for an equal quantity of work with the finished :(

hey thx everyone
yea the guestbook idea is out, don't feel too much about installing any scripts.
Zebsfree, you're making a really good point. I definatly need that logo when you first open the page. When I was making the site I did some versions where the two parts where more connected by some design elements but in the end i was thinking it was becoming too "designy" and too far away from the simple concept. But you're right a simple trick like that would probably work, thx
interceptor, yea that place needs to be filled quickly, the stuff up there is not all the finished work I got, but I definetly need more up there. thx :)
