Digital fairy

Hi everyone,

I would like some crits and opinions on this please. I think its about done.(except BG) Its my first serious digital. Trying to do more with the medium. I know ppl have a thing about the white backgrounds around here , i am planning on doing somthing, But I need a white version for t-shirts and stickers I wanna print up. Any suggestions on what kind of background I should go with would be cool to.


You guys have been alot of help with thing so far.


This little fairy is just outta my head for fun. Anatomy may not be perfect but wasn't really aming for that since hes just a fnky little fairy. Enjoy.

Considering how shiny the shell is , I think there should be some skin color reflected on the shell and vice versa with the skin. Right now the individual elements look cut-and-pasted together.

He's uber-cute, but at the moment he looks uncomfortably "perched", rather than sitting. He wouls have to strain to maintain that position, or fall forward.

Maybe a seat or saddle atatched to the shell?

I feel sorry for the poor snail - grabbing his optical tentacles like that!
