Hi again,

I would like feedback on this one. I'd like to make it a tad more interesting but I'm not sure how. FYI, the skeletons on the ground aren't made to be taken literally, it's more of a metaphore, I suppose (many tried, many died). The bright contrast, or overexposure, was done to create a sense of high-noon heat. I'm thinking the horses might need more work perhaps? what else?

Thanks,

C.

I like the painting style. Here are some thoughts - I really like the skelitons in the grass - but it should read clearly if they are real or metaphorical. I got it, but not sure if everyone would.

It might be kind of cool to see heat waves - or something to bring in more atmosphere - maybe push the overexposure.

The riders seem to be on the same eye level, thus it looks kinda static, like they are not really riding.

The sky is very prominent in your picture, perhaps try putting some drama up there. I don't know, maybe sunset, clouds, crazy colours, vultures or a metaphore like u have on the ground :)

just a thought.

Thanks for your ideas guys and gals. I have not abandonned this piece, I'm just working on 3 others at the same time right now, but please keep the comments coming, for this one really needs "something".

It's boring, that's what it is...
