crappy portait of jim morrison, i had nothing else to draw except stuff from my brothers guitar magazine so i drew him, i rushed on the hair and shirt and i smeared the face a bit and it looks bad ugh

Hrmmm, I think its really good! I think that the right side (the lighter side) should eh have some boundaries. I know thats probably just the scan, and that it most likely looks better on paper. Hrmm theres something weird in between the eyes there, there seems to be too much space, or perhaps you could =bring the shadows near his eyes closer together, to give him and arch for a nose instead of a flattened peice of play-dough. =D Maybe he just looks weird lol

The lighting and shading is very nice. But it doesn't look like Jim! I know, creating a recongizable likeness is quite difficult. I've only done it twice, that I can recall, out of god knows how many drawings I've done throughout my life.
