Necromancer

Hey All,
I've been doing more lurking than posting. Thought I'd share this piece with you. I pulled the main figure from an old illustration of mine. I wanted to re-ink the background (Digitally). Here's a rough and then the finished art.

Nice. It reminds of alot of old heavy metal cd covers. Alot of nice linework and textural elements here. I will say however that the arcane symbol with the lightning isnt doing anything for the piece. Maybe eliminate a majority of the lightning but have some of the electrical arcs shooting into the necromancers minions. It might connect them together better and illustrate that hes in control of them through a magical means.

Right now it looks like that skeleton is trying to get it on with the leg of the wolfman (who's totally not going for it), with other zombies doing their best chicken impressions in the background...

Sorry if it sounds like I have my critique knob set to 'asshole' but that's what I see...
