Hi there, you might have seen this pic in the latest Thunderdome. Anyway, I know it's no where near winning material, and that's why I would like some feedback on it. I don't intend on working on it anymore, but the help would be appreciated so that my future works will hopefully be better.

Right now I'm pretty blind to this image. I'd like some crits on the full posed character, forget the heads for the moment. Android said that the form and anatomy of the character was off but he didn't go into specifics. I'm guessing he means the legs since they were rushed but I'm still not sure since I'm very blind to my own work. So any help would be great, tear it apart if need be! :)

I can only begin by saying if you want a critique based off the contest, then I would have to say your design could use a bit more push. If I were an AD at company, then my initial thought would be to take the design further. What is this character's appeal? Right now he just wearing tights, shoulder pads, and a big gun strapped to his hand. Pretty basic. If you look around here in the forum, there are a lot of basic designs. What an AD would be looking for is a bit more push.

Take a good look at Prometheus' design and execution. Prom's work was good because it was simple, but not basic. I can only guess, but I would have to say Prometheus probably made a couple of design passes to get some of the characters fully realized. He took to the time to think about all aspects of the characters design and how they would look on the "new system" Android was refering too.

Your technique is good, and you have a good color sense. Your anatomy is just off, but I don't think it is so off it killed your design. I think your design is what needs developing.
