I figured we are doing way too many cliffs and beautiful pretty landscapes, we need more dingy grit :D
well, it can be all pretty if you like with huge open windows and fully mechanised robots building hairdriers in some exotic location, ranging from tank construction of the future, to steampunk construction workshops, industrial revolution or.. wel let your imagination run wild :) this one seems a little more boxed in but restrictions help creativity :)

oh man.... is right.. Im a technophobe. this ones for Goran and Hideyoshhi. I was thinking of a group of Massive Greek Gods assembling Pandora... each one adding something. heh . dunno I may skip this one and work on Girls thunderdome this week. But that would be cowardly...we'll see..

You could always do an organic assembly line. Think bacteria, or a vine pulley system operated by monkeys.

well, massive implying really really big, so a huge assembly line
and assembly line:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assembly_line

menschlicher besatzung.
can me help to translate? plaese

well It doesn't look Like Im going to finish this...the competition is stiff and I doidn't orecisely follow the directions so it probably wouldn't go to poll anyway (not "massive") but just so you can see that I did do some work on this...

The manufacture of giant nuclear toasters is a delicate procedure. It proved to complex for robots, and to dangerous for humans. The only solution; giant, human piloted, toaster assembly mechs.

Year 3011. In a time of heavy warfare, the mass production of warships is a necessity, favoring quantity over quality. Massive cruiser assembly plant/production on Planet Gisro.

Automated space shuttle production, for public use, has been active since the later years of the 22nd century. The main assembly line is regulated by an outsourced inspection agency hired by the manufacturers. The record number of fully functioning units made in one day, so far, has been 487.

Coastal production lines like this were built on the enemy shorelines to produce war craft under their radar systems. The installations were self-installed by automated robots, and took roughly 3 days to construct. Shipped in by slow moving, cloaked submarines, if positioned correctly these installations could remain undetected for long periods of time while they ammassed a flotilla of war craft.
Felt stuck on this one.

awsome stuff everyeone,
ohjay, the faces are awsome.
rushtoy, sweet stuff.
yAdam, :) love the depth.
Form, really like the approach on the seaside.
hehe, i thought assembly line as in mass of people assembled.. *sigh* and started working on this idea, then I went back to read the brief again and then I realised I had the whole thing wrong.. :$
Anyways, here's my entry

This is awesome guys. I love EoW so much, soo many skilled participants in here it hurts.
yAdam and mr.blonde - you really nailed the 'massive' part here,
bumskee - I agree with form, the speculars are plain sexy
rushtoy - stunning atmosphere
form - cool concept and sweet, economic brush strokes. Yay.
brandx - definitely the funniest take on the project
chaosrocks - cool, we could have joined our submissions - yours do the faces, mine the torsos ;)
rawwad - best perspective in history AND original colour palette
michamachtlos - sweet first entry. The font is a bit overpowering though?
mattgamer - get in here man, now! No time for drooling, time for droodling!

I still remember the old robot factory where my father worked, the smell of
machine oil, polished metal and the buzzing sound of robot welders.
Now the factory is closed like many others monuments of communist era
Waiting to be sold as scrap metal by the pound together with my all childhood memories.
