Hey, just joined up and decided to post a drawing or two that I've done. They're some of my old stuff. I need to take the time out of my day to scan in some of my newer stuff and post it though.

I haven't put a lot of time in on color and find that my time for drawing alone is very limited since I'm in my final classes at school and I graduate on May 31st. These peices are from BEFORE I started college (4 years ago).

DUDE! How do you ink so well? It's amazing? Do you use gelpens by any chance? I know that sounds weird but my friend inks kind of like you and he said gelpens were the best :3 got any tips? XD *Ish a pitiful artist indeed*

Mainly I just microns for my inkwork. I usually focus entirely on linework first and then go in and do shading/rendering later. I used to do 2D char/effects animation and clean up was something I always enjoyed doing. Precision linework is something I try to focus on. I just suck at coloring. :rolleyes:

A lot of what I do is just control the line and I work with a really tight .03 mechanical pencil for fine tuning. Usually I'll rough out the pose with a regular 2H pencil and then go in with my mech pencil and tighten the line down.

I also found out that my webhosting account cancelled my account so it'll be a few days before I can get artwork back on here. The sucky thing is I just scanned in a bunch of my pencil work and was ready to put it up. :mad:

I really liked your Venus btw, I saw it earlier today in class but I didn't get to post due to being at school and limited time. Well, I was just looking for it on the messageboard but can't find it. It was you that did it right? I thought so because I clicked on your www link at the bottom and visited your site. Nice stuff.
