I've got some illustrations to post. At the ready is an illustration that was recently done, as in last week done. Basically, the assignment was to choose a song, and make an illustration that was inspired and co-ordinated with the lyrics. I chose "3 Libras" by A Perfect Circle.

This piece measures 8"x16". It was done in oil paint with a black watercolor wash over it. And then, I spray fixed the hell out of it.

This is the final piece. Measures 4.75"x9.5" and the text was put in via Adobe Illustrator. The text doesn't show up so vibrant and sharp because I had to convert the image to a jpeg. But, it gives you the basic idea.

Older Illustration work:

Graphic Design assignment. Mock-up of The New York Times Magazine cover based off an article about Saddam Hussain. Mixed Media drawing colored with digital techniques.

The above image was based off an idea that I had and is still in development. Right now, I'm more concerned with developing a nice portfolio rather than worrying about making a comic book.

The Odin image was done as a part of the Design Odin Contest for the Runes of Ragnan comic book.

The Nightcrawler painting was done out of bordom. I just felt compelled to paint him. The piece was done in acrylics with some additions in Photoshop.

Aight guys and gals, here are a few more illustrations I did a little bit earlier this year. I've also got a few figure studies in the "Fine Art" forums here too, if you wish to check them out.

Cheers!

PS: I will try to get some character studies up here as soon as I can since that's kind of what people really want to see. :)
