depending on how much of a newbie you are.. it s pretty nice
Do you have a high rez rendered version (even a gray non-textured version would be nice)??? just so we can see if there s no errors in the mesh =)
the jaw seems to be long (on the profile view) and too narrow (in the front view).. put a longer neck and bring the jaw in front (more like a skull ) try to get a reff pic so you can size the jaw and the neck
but except for that... good job

good start, your edgeloops are there, you just need to further the development, work in a smooth proxy(i'm not sure what the name is in softimage) it's when half of your geometry smooth and the other half is actual. it seems like your looking at a tutuorial so your on the right track. make the bottom lip more round and pull the upper eye lid out to basically be flush with the lower one. round out the chin more to. add edgeloops and splits where necessacary and adjusts vertexes accordingly. good work

its ok, it really depends on what you were trying to achieve, from a "realism point of veiw its ok, not great, the poly flow around the mouth is not great, on this site its not a great idea to say that your stuff looks like crap because it sounds like you are fishing for compliments, you need not worry about people commenting and criting your work. keep it up, maybe look at a program called Zbrush, it gives you a much more organic process than conventional poly modeling packages. ok have fun

lol. Thank guys.
@ PianoForte, I was trying to make it looks believable or realistic. It was my first attempt at a 3D model. I'm actually switching from Softimage to Maya now, and I find Maya very friendlly (I'm messing around with texture now). I will start on ZBrush soon if I can master Maya first (I hope). I was looking at Aaron Sims' stuffs and I told myself I have to learn ZBrush.
Will post more soon with my concept character.
