I think the drawings and painting look great. The style of the painting and the colors accentuate the mood of the story.

But... what is the story?

I like the style. :)

About the third image, I think it'll be better if you adjust it a little so the colors look less smudgy. I feel the third image isn't as good as the 1st and 2nd because the objects' forms and relative distances aren't as defined.

it looks good, but not great. loads of perspective/depth issues in the 3rd picture, and there's the face on the last image is very assymetrical/off. first 2 panels are better than the rest, but they are still very very flat and lack variations in lineweight. the garand rifle in the first pic is way too short.

Still it looks very interesting, great idea and i like the style!

question, how big are you drawing the pages at? i get the feeling that they're A4.

I like the darker shadows in the 3rd piece, and I think more shadow would add to the first one, also I agree with the other comments listed here except for what crazy harij said about the face, it is assymetrical, the left eye could be a little lower, but people aren't symetrical, if you take a picture of the average old war-going soldier's face, cut his face in half flip say the right side and use it as the left as well - it would look very different from the original image

it wins very much, allthough i was hoping for the next issues to be about soldiers not from America. Russian, for example.
as u said in the other "badasses" thread, yes all veterans are the win.
but its just that i am Russian and i have an even greate respect for us Soviet soldiers! hails!

your m1 garand is waaaay short in the first pic, it almost looks like the shorter version of the russian mosin rifle.

manslaughter:i would love to work on some soviets...crazyharij: thanks for pointing out the shortness of the m1 you too slaughter.as for the perspective/depth issues i kinda had a feeling something was a little tweaked there.. what in particular? i dont understand what u mean by a4 ..the first pic was about 3 by 5 inches or so..the rest vary. all reletively the same though. the lack of sharpness in the 3rd pic is because its more of an environment shot rather then a character development shot it might make more sense when seen in its entirety...thanks again guys for your honesty:yayca:

It dosent look like he has a solid grip on the gun. The forshortend hand near the butt of the gun dosent look like hes holding anthing there compared to the angle of the gun. i think you would see more of the underside of the gun especially every thing after the trigger.

Very interesting visual style, I'd certainly buy it.

My only beef is with the general lack of action, I think that needs to be emphasised a little more.
