Here is a shot I did for a class.I just thought I'd share it for some reason I always liked this photo I was very pleased with results.

Hi,
I think its the mix of patterns. The brickwork, seems to meld into the foreground fence. I'm sure this wouldn't have worked as well as a colour shot either. Yes, nice piece, though it is quite indescript, and probably launches a few memories for you perhaps.

Thanks for the comments.I agree about the way the brick and fence look.I think one thing that stood out was how the fence lines and brick run parrallel and when the house wall turns the fence still looks like its sticking out or still coming towards you so it's not just a flat looking picture.I don't know if the shot really has alot of meaning or memories to me it was done for a class project and I was immediately drawn to the whole set up of everything.
This was one of the first pictures I had taken that I had to develop in the dark room myself and again I was realy pleased how well this came out.Thanks for the comments again.
