I'm going to start a sketchbook thread here - I do life art once a week (normally). I tend to switch between my tablet and paper - here's a drawing of my friend Minal (I forced her to sit still for 30 mins while she moaned).
She kept on fricking shifting around and then I just decided to draw her with her eyes close because she kept on asking me which guy was 'hot or not'?
I drew this with a 3b on some water colour paper (yeah yeah - its my favourite medium).

Looking good. My only peice of critique would be that with the right shank going along the floor it seems that the foot should show a bit from behind the left thigh. I really like the free sketching work though.

i get what you mean smuli - its just that minnie wouldnt stay still after a while so i just decided mid way to reinforce my strokes instead lol.

allright - i've started to mess with alias sketchbook pro 2.0 nowadays and a tablet. heres a piece i drew and coloured in sketchbook pro- its a fantastic product and dragged me into the digital world. i use a wacom intuos 2 (9x12) for most of my work.

I made this for the Open Figure Drawing session with Hong Ly and Rebecca Kimmel - Kimmel's tutorials are near amazing so i just had to participate in this as soon as i came across with it.
I used Alias Sketchbook Pro 2.0 to colour and draw this. Photoshop was used for cropping. I drew this at approximately 300 dpi.

i've had zero time to draw recently. the video game business has wonderfully long hour so any pleasure drawing is out of the question. i doodled this to warm up as i have not drawn in months.
this is somewhat inspired by frank herbert's dune - it's called 'my skin is not my own'. no background either - i really need to get into the flow of things to get working again.

thanks daraf.
i tend to blend in a lot of breakdowns and build on them - its an improvisationary method of drawing.

your line work is very hypnotic, and start busting into that digital painting, i would really like to see the " Resurectionist" in color. keep it up. and when painting and drawing keep and eye on you light sorce. it will add depth to your pictures.
