hi all, some childrens book stuff

this stuff is from the childrensbook show i was part of,
me and angi999 were down there and it was pretty cool.
here is some of my stuff, waddaya think

the first one is guache and the second one is a quicky in painter 7

Those are neat, I really like the top one.

The bottom stuff seems a bit creepy for children's book stuff, but I guess kids like to be scared witless.

I like the first image a lot, but the 'line' figure pulling the donkey gets lost in the image. Firstly, because of all the 'line' animals in the sky, and secondly because you have the blue fade out as it reaches the bottom of the image. I think you could make the image stronger by bring focus back to the figure pulling the donkey and the donkey/guy.

The other concept is very moody, and you definitely do a good job of setting a dark, macabre sort of feel. What's the story with the font? It kind of has that Neil Gaiman 'Sandman' feel, the font and art.
