UGH! not one reply! I really do not know why no one replied to this, sorry I'm late in looking. X.x
I really like this piece, the background and water are amazing! I really love the colors you used. I also like your figures clothes. I have one small crit though. The figure looks like she is falling, she needs to be sitting a little straighter and her right arm should be bent slightly to show she's putting pressure on that hand to keep herself up. But it is a very beautiful piece. :3

a very ambitious piece. I see a great deal of potential for this one, but many of your features could be more defined. By that I mean, you could use the saturation of some colors to separate foreground from background as well as create mood. Try fading the same green from the foreground grass into a softer, cooler feel as it reaches the background. Maybe make the foreground with a lot sharper cuts on your colors. Remember that a darker shape will POP right out from a lighter shape. Remember that with your brushstrokes. Get in there with details on the most important elements and USE the shadow... become the shadows friend, and steer it to FRAME your subject. Create mood with it. Have water reflections glowing from it onto your subject... dress up your most important parts with a bit more definition.

Its a neet pic. But it still feels like a sketch.
