awsome rendering! reminds me of Bisley, looks like you painted over black background too? cuase the shadows are tight...how come you didn't color her left hand?

The dead dudes in the foreground seem a little flat. Other than that, I like it.

He's using that Bisley turquoise--toned down a bit, of course. The character also reminds me of Julie Strain's character from FAKK.
Good focus on the character, and good lighting. It's nice to see details like seeing the green from the dead monsters reflect off the figure's legs.
Very solid piece, though the left hand does look a bit strange, completely cast in that blue/green shadow.

Pretty dope, I bet you love BIZ dont you. He's one of my favs. I recommed Sharpening up the focal point, its a bit soft in my opinion. I think her tummy is a bit anatomicaly incorrect. I think i just made that word up. Im tryin to say her stomach muscles look a little of. Still dope pic though.

thanks for the feedback everyone. Her hand is supposed to be in some kind of leather glove or something, but I guess it's not reading that well. I'll have to go back and tighten it up. I did paint from a black BG, I find it works really well to block things out quickly. Nardfrog, do you have any specific reccomendations for the stomach? I find doing muscly female torsos one of the hardest things to paint....a little off and she looks like she-huilk or worse - a man. And yep, I do love Biz's work, he's on of my favs!

Hi Blackarts,
been following your posts and this one is my fav of yours, overall it works really well!
there are a cople of comments though.
The main figure got much more attention than the rest, and I agree with Tetsuo bout the foreground bodies. Maybee you should pump up the contrast...
The composition of the pice is your strongest, but it could use just a tiny bit more sky. that would give 2 things, first there would be a clean area for a possible title of the Magazine, Book Cover, or Comic strip or whatever you want it to be. Second it would move the girl away from the absolut center of the image, creating a better composition in my opinion.
My last comment is on proportins. the right arm is to short, and the left hands fingers are to long..
Jeesh what a picky bastard eh? well don't mind me to much, just keep doing badass work like this.

I like it! Only crits are that, like someone said, the foreground is a little flat.. I would also liek to see it a bit sharpened up, but all in all its a nice piece!

thanks! I will revisit this one and try to incorporate some of these comments. I also like the idea of extending the sky...why didnt I think of that? =)
