Topic: Future Body-Pods

Description: In the future humankind will have adapted so dependent on technologies, that the species' have evolved around their own innovations. Bodylength shrunk, eyes widened, limb's adapated and muscle reduced. Humanity has created Pods that are used to enable certain needed actions in the world.
The function of breathing is no longer controlled by the brain
It is now operated by the pods. Legs are unneeded; the pod will offer the means of transportation.

Your Job: Design a pod around what you think the future of humanity would appear as from the scenario above.

Deadline: April 2st Midnightish

Woah, crazy, me and my friend where talking about exactly this same thing last year. The only diffrence is that we decided everyone in the pods would be fat due to lack of exercise and for breathing it was that they couldn't breath if they went outside so the pod took care of it then. Yea, it was a bleak outlook on the future but amusing nonetheless. I suppose this means I have to find the time for it :)

This is my very first activity submision. I started around 11am this morning, Friday the last day before deadline and finshed just a while ago. I'm so proud and excited this has to be the hardest I've worked on something ever.Am I too late?

Where are the rest of the submissions?

This age of humans are totally dependant on these pods, so much so they spend their whole lives in it, from conception till they die. They only make coctact with the outside world via a virtual representation. All social interactions are played out in this virtual world which closely but not entirely mirrors what is physicaly present outside their pods. The pod has anti gravition abilities that is the main form of transport they use.

They only grow to the average size of a 3-5 yearold when they reach adulthood but their brains still grow the same way as today. 6 months after conception is when they are mature enough to be born but instead remain in the artificial womb for the rest of their natural life. At this time the micro machines will connect additional tubes and biologicaly engenired bowels for disposal of waste matter.

I covered up some vital peices that were in my design, such as plug-ins and ports that the pod needs to plug into the transit/wash/food/sleep facilities, but i got carried away with making it look like it was in a hostile atmosphere and terrain. but i like it, so bug off.
-first contest entry on CA by they way. i'm as happy as a 2 peter'd dog.

Hello folks,
It's not really a pod it's more of a mecha I suppose - don't take it to poll Davi if I've strayed too far from the brief.:teeth:
