(If you are coming to London to see this, go during the week not on weekends. Its the Easter holidays now, and there'll be plenty of people visiting the museum)

it would be sweet if you could "borrow" all of them drawings, scan them, post, and put them back..

alternatively, do you know if there's a decent catalogue available (reproductions of drawings often leave a bad taste in my mouth)

I was looking at "michelangelos drawings: closer to the master" the other day in the book shop, Think I might buy it as soon as I got the cash.. It looks to be fairly good.

Wish I had the money to go to london.. i could do with a holiday .. been like 4 years since i left the country ... aghhhh... cabin fever.

man, I'm so tempted to visit London now, it'd be worth it to see this. Need to look up some travel prices though. Thanks for the post Molly :)

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, what's the chances of an impromptue CA sketch group meeting there? It seems like it'd work as both a meeting and possibly a theme for the meeting

Well ya know, its Easter holidays now(for a good 4 weeks), and this exhibition closes in June. Dunno what your up to, but if your up for popping down to London to see this, please PM me (or visit the UK thread) and let me know when.

Fortunately for my Academy, someones coming in on Weds to show us a CD of all thats in that particular exhibit. Not as good as the real thing, but it would be cool none the less...

Also, theres a Pixar exhibition on at the Science Museum too...need to get details....

the british museum is always worth to go to, been there once, and it's absolutely fascinating. :o btw, you know the painting 'the alley at Middelharnis' (het laantje van middelharnis) Middelharnis is the village where I go to school :) always thought that to be quite awesome :P

here's a picture for those who don't know it, it looks a lot better in real to be honest. . . .;

I'd love to go to this exhibition. Like I just posted in the UK thread Molly. You think we should start putting a definite date on an easter hol meet? For booking tickets an stuff.

This exhibition showed in the Netherlands (Teylers museum in Haarlem) at the end of last year. I went to see it, and if I can give one advice: go see it. It's about a hundred drawings and it's absolutely stunning.

http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/exhibitions/pixar/ not much there, but it describes what's going to be going on.

I'll probably be heading down Tuesday or Wednesday and stay for a day or two, although if there's a better day for others I don't have a problem with that
