I made these for a RPG campaing setting.
I used photoshop and 3DSMax and I took as reference Joe Mad's Battle Chasers and the art of Masamune Shirow.

good drawings, but i think the b/w of the first one is much better than it´s collored version, more clear.

I agree the drawings are a lot better than the paintings. That the drawing and painting both into PS and lay the drawing over the painting. Might give you that cartoon, comic look.

That are some kickass drawings. No critique from my side. Keep these up!

This is some fine stuff. As has been stated, your biggest issue is in the coloring. Work on that, and you'll be set.

These characters really look like theyd lend themselves well to a vibrant, colorful paint job. Your's was kind of dull and muddy.

the characters alone are great.. but when put together as they are, they get lost. i didnt even realise there was a guy standing between the armoured guy and the dwarf with the blunderbuss til i saw the B&W image. might i suggest switching the big armoured dude with the female sorceress? you need some negative space between the man to the left of the dwarf (ok so hes not a dwarf, but you know what i mean) for him to "pop" and be readilly recognisable. the colouring kills the image too. too much going on, and the execution is lacking. your rendering needs to be a lot more precise to pull this one off convincingly.

Thanks, guys. Your comments are being very helpful! I feel i'm really learning something here! :D

'stoph, he is a dwarf! hehehe. Switch the big armoured dude with the female sorceress is a very good solution. Thanks!
But... that guy standing between the armoured guy and the dwarf is a ninja, be hidden is his job! (hehehe! Ok, i'm kidding! ;) )

Well, here I brought the sketches. I think some of them are best them the final concept.
What you think, guys?

man, i really like what you've got going here, although i gotta say that your sketches and line drawings are much stronger than your finished product. I'm really just referencing the painting in your first post. the lines for that, i felt, were really strong, but the painting detracts. I'd suggest try to wokr on painting in a way that complements the lines, not just slapping color on them. dunno if that helps at all, but i hope it does. good stuff!

I agree with dose your finished products lack the life of your sketches, I like the roughs alot more.
