Keeping a somewhat-daily-weekly sketching habit for me is like one of those "I will never smoke again" new year eve resolutions.
so lets see if I can keep this one

Im not really good at this and I do not have much of an imagination so I will probably be referencing from a lot of styles and nude sketches around here.

Anyways this sketch came from a discussion I had with a friend; he said I had been posting a few pictures which resembled a lot deadbears art (those teethy mouths) But, on the other hand he draws anime/manga!. So I said that this was a style just as big eyes-small mouth was a style too, and that saying I copied was just as intolerant as saying that his illos were copied too. XDXD

I bought a special book for doodling, it actually isnt a real sketchbook but I liked because its small, hard covered and has really crappy roneo paper which doesnt allow me to press a lot the pencil nor erase too much. And it gets dirty quite easily. Which forces me to doodle and not focus in one image for too long.

Sadly Ive been compleetely uninspired and full of work.....

I hope Ill eventually get better at doing theese (exercise from master mentler):

Was studying how to make faces out of a book I bought, seems I was so busy I forgot to actually look at the page I was drawing in XD

meh... the horned guy and the girl are doodles inspired by del Toros new upcoming dark fantasy film Pans Labyrinth.

Contrary to what you say, this is actually pretty good. You've got some cool characters in here, and your linework is good too. Only crits for now are that you have some issues with facial distortion here or there, and sometimes your rough sketch lines interfere a bit too much with the important one.

But a nice start to your sb either way. :)
