Kinda strange request form a friend who wanted me to draw myself as an angel. This is the WIP so far, any pointers on the progress so far would be really helpfull. I think the anatomy is all cool so far apart from teh belly button.

I want to make this the best i can, at present about 30-40 mins of work has been done on it.

Your arms are too long ;)
I think you should read up on how wings are constructed. Check a few photos of birds --you might even find a picture of a pair of wings that you can use as reference.
Thumbs are a little weird too.

Looks good. But you better seperate your arms from the side of the body. Now, it looks like you did that on purpose because you have problems drawing them. ;-)

Hey guys, thanks for the comments.

As for the arms not in view, it was unintentional but i see what your saying. I posed in a mirror, i kinda have one foot stepped backward, looking up with my arms relaxed and my chest pushed out a little.

Arumeo, Yer i see the problem with the wings, i guess i was too impatient to find some good wing referances and made them up.

Heres an update but the suggested changes havnt been made due to me doing it before i had the chance to see peoples comments about it. I need to add some more darks to the wings on the right as there not yet fully done, but i hope you like what i got so far.
