Hey guys. I flexed a sketch of this work in the sketchbook section but now it's all done. Enjoy.

WOO! Nice stuff! No black lines, good volume, really looks awesome. My only concern (not complaint) is that it's a little hard to tell what's going on. I wonder if there's not a way to further separate the figures?

yeah I totally feel ya. I guess i could have desaturated the ships to make the characters to stand out a little bit more. But sometimes you just gotta put yer foot down and move on. Deadline´s are deadline´s.

Yeah it's a great take on a really hard theme actually, the style is great and composition and colour are amazing, so you're feeling a bit fooled that you can't figure out what's going on.
On the other hand, it's pretty cool that you see more and more of the characters the longer you look.

Yeah, it's really hard to find characters, and once I do, I have to search for their faces and limbs. It's a really fun color scheme and I like the chunky style, but as a whole, this piece is too chaotic for me. I think all it needs would be some further work on the outlines, but you said you're done with it, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

As u guys now see, I've included the lines, to show off all the details and make the pic a little bit more "readable". But now it's hurry to get up on the ftp so the client can get their hands on it!!
Thanks for the pointers yah'll!

Wow, those colours are great. I'm not too bothered that you can't see what is going on too well. I think it works really well as semi-abstract and is certainly eye-catching for a comic cover. Three thumbs up!

Thats fuckin beautifull, but i think a few outlines are too strong.

i absolutely love this. sure, the hard readability is a con when regarded as a comic book cover, but just as a piece of art, this is pretty awesome.
i guess you were lazy on the clouds, but i didn't notice at first sight. :P
could you please repost the first version of it?

Thanks for the kind words guys. Lazy on the clouds huh? Yeah, i didnt give them that much consideration.
Yeah, I wanted to give this cover a "arty" look rather than classic comicstyle.

Too many bright and goody colors and too much happening ,to me black outlines could have helped, and as you yourself mentioned characters arent really standing out ,but still a nice overall feel to it.
And deadlines are a bitch.
keep pimping more stuff

I love it although like many ppl have said its hard to tell whats going on at first glance....
But if its a comic cover I bet it would catch someones eye
The colors are amazing I love the style of it
I dont mind how the colors are bright...
Just an opinion from a beginner

Ello!
Mycket imponerad ;)
Mycket pra! <3
