Dude! Thats mean!
Great pic though, I love the rough edge you've got on it, and the blurring on the background, it gives depth to the whole pic...
(Are you sure you can't post something like 'but it's ok, she was saved in the nick of time by her babysitter?'
Cool stuff...

thats one of the most disturbing pictures I've ever seen. The limited palette lends an almost tangible tension and silence to the picture. Its very good but it makes me nauseous...

I love rough and abstract stuff, but it took me a little too long to figure out what's going on in the pic. The narrative is a little lost, especially without the title.
The composition and lighting point to emphasize the staircase. Notice the wedge of light pointing toward the stairs. Also, the blurred texture of the stairs area makes it pop out (rather than recede into the distance) because it a different texture and range of values than the rest of the piece.
Also, the staircase doesn't look very menacing from this angle. I realize the subtle menace is when you realize a baby is heading toward it, but that's lost a bit because the baby area looks so much like the rest of the piece, and is lost in the jumble. Again, the staircase area looks so different, and steals the show without having much to add.
I'd recommend doing several quick, small composition and value studies. Try a few different angles and rough blocks of light and dark. You'll get there before you know it. :)

The atmosphere is rater great but i dont understand the thing around the kid.
What is that?
If i hadnt asked me that, when i saw the pic, i would possibly like it still better.
