Hey guys,

Just wanted to post a sample of some of the coloring work I've been doing lately.

J. P. Dupras' pencils are gorgeous on this one and a little intimidating to work on. The inks were done by the talented Jesse Hansen. Going into this one of our main concerns was to preserve the rich texture of the original pencils. Watching many inkers try and give up on it we decided to try a different approach. Jesse inked just enough to bring out the images and accentuate some of the areas. Then I went back in with the coloring and tried to further blend them together without loosing too much. In the end, this is what I came up with.

I went back and reworked a few problem areas but any additional C&C is always appreciated.

Well so far, the story looks pretty good. I'd buy this comic to read. A couple of problems I see is ... one, the assasins in the first panel are hard to notice flying around the mountain there. Second, the perspective on that table on the last page really stands out and annoys me.

nice strip. and the colors are great looking, only thing that bothers me is what material is the creature? is it wood or flesh? and the eyes is also abit to much. maybe dim the glow abit?

hes got some great skills that guy, and the colors just make it better.
