*The eyes are far apart... first thought that came to my mind. the area between the two eyes is one eye. Just imagine there's an invisable eye inbetween.

*The skull is divided into thirds. The first third is the eyebrow. then There's the nose and there's the chin. The Nose is too long.

*Your shading is messy. Try to gradrately go from light to dark with your pencil.

Keep it up!

Not anatomy yet...proportion first. You've made the universal beginner's mistake of too much face, not enough skull. The eyes are actually about halfway down on the head. She needs a little more forehead and a lot more hair.

To clarify, the face can be divided into thirds, starting at the hairline. Hairline to eyebrows, eyebrows to nose, nose to chin.

Despite any errors, my first impression is that I quite like your style, and she is very cute! :D You've got just the right amount of detail, I think... but actually, you may want to deliberately do some drawing with too much detail in them, so that you get a better idea of how all the parts of the face relate to each other... like drawing the cheekbones and the lines by the mouth and under the eyes and on the nose and all that, because it will be easier to build the face if you can see all those things.

But who knows, that technique might not work for you. XD; (If you ever get advice that doesn't work, you should just move on and try to find some that does, by the way. ^_~ )

At least some guidelines may be a good thing to try. :3

Also, don't be so careful with the hair... it looks as if you were trying to shape it perfectly, right? It's really hard to do that, even for pros. XD; Hair does what it wants in real life, so it's easiest and most natural-looking to let it do what it wants on paper, too. Just use long, smooth strokes and don't worry too much about where they go.

Hope that all made sense, and was of at least some help to you! X3;;

This (http://www.anticz.com/heads.htm) may help.

The eyes are prolly the biggest feature of the face that stands out,prefect those and all the other misproportioned parts will look like miner mess ups.

That was actually pretty neat. I agree with everyone else, that theres too much face and not enough skull, but everything else gives it a nice look, like being viewed through an oiled lens kinda.

I very well may be wrong, but thats what I think.

I would Agree with SillyLing. He pretty much pointed out everything. (hair looks good though)
