These sketches are originally from the Critique area. (http://conceptart.org/forums/showpost.php?p=772047&postcount=16)

I'm only starting just starting work in science-fiction, it's somewhat difficult. I'm having creativity issues but I hope to get over it soon enough. Sci-fi is something that I'm going to have to develope over the next few years.

good start - with regard to perspective - think of your shapes as interlocking cuboids first, then get into the curves (might help to work out the 3d shape of each section first) - better still get yourself some modelling clay and sculpt the damn thing. that'll give you a real sense of perspective.
technical elevations and perspective projections are best learned by applying the techniques to the real world around you, deconstructing how things are put together - then you can start conceptualising with them.

check out rob-ot's sketchbook (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=62448) for some solid perpective notes.

keep it up
