I like this but it's something about the characters they don't seem to blend in with the backgrounds. I like the concept though.

Mmmm. I like it. There's an excellent sense of movement and momentum as if the horse is rounding a corner. The anatomy does feel a little distorted but that feels like a good thing in this pic, giving it a exaggerated nightmarish quality. Concurring with CreyativeBeauty, some judicious blending of the horse and rider into the background probably wouldn't go astray, as well as perhaps a few more highlights in places like buckles, skeleton hands and such.

The hood does however look like it should be pulled back, given the position and presumed force of the air as evidenced by the swept back cloak.

I am interested to know what software you used for this.

Not a bad image, the title reminded me of the Johnny Cash song 'When the Man Comes Around', when at the end he says something like, '..and I saw a pale horse, and on him sat death... and hell followed with him'. Is it a bible quote I've wondered? Anyway I think the image has got a point-rider-to-the-apocalypse feel.

I love the atmosphere on this piece. Very dark and ominous. To complete that look I'd suggest doing the fire behind the rider more like that around the horse's hooves. Right now that spot looks cut and pasted on from another picture. Just about everything else flows togeather quite nicely.

And as Matias said, great sense of movement.

Shame for the muddy and messy image, it almost feels like your way to heavy handed with the pressure on your tablet. I hardly see any Subtlety in your painting style, it degrades it imo. The movement is nice, but the whole image feels to rough and cut&pasted. This is an image I would never concider as finished and Imo, it should have been posted in the work in progress section. Even if YOU, concider it finished.

Now I am thinking about it, It almost feels like your painting with a mouse .. if so, get yourself a tablet! there is no art in painting with a mouse.
