South Korea, anyone?

Does anyone know what it's like to work as a concept artist in South Korea?

Is the market saturated with artists looking for work?
Very high standards of art?
Any place for non-anime art?

Quality of life vs. Pay, getting a working Visa, etc.?

I think it's a cheaper alternative to Japan, and I also hope to find some love there. :teeth:

well i don't realy know anything aboud working there but i think it will be hard and long days wokring there verry structural and payments are not as good as europe or america places like that

Well if you want to work in other country i dont think South KR is your best choice in terms of your profession =) i've been there before.. if you are an electronics engineer, computer engineer etc.. its good for you.

Heh, kinda forgot I posted here, but now that I recalled I thank you. Every little bit helps.

Considering that Koreans have difficulty obtaining jobs, I don't think I stand much of a chance.

I'm thinking about China... What other options exist? East Europe is a maybe, so is Canada.
Unlikely to get a greencard, and Japan is neigh impossible as far as I know.

I think I'll go visit ROK anyways :^^:
