hey, here's a prim-sketch for a painting to stretch my painter skills. any suggestions to the drawing before i get my paints out? thanks for your time and attention

looks good, except for the bend in her shins, also you might want to make her looks a little more relaxed, right now it looks kinda like she cant support her own weight without that bar, although that might just be because of the way her shins curve

interesting line work. very sharp corners especially in the upper body.
think the head is a bit to big, but otherwise looking prominsing!

you might want to pump up the contrast before posting, it is rather hard to see.

i agree with usagi. . .the legs need a re-working. I think her feet are a bit too big in comparison to the rest of her, and her legs bend backwards at the shins and kneecaps to much. It is as though she is almost double-jointed in the knees!

but it is a cool drawing, i'd like to see you develop it.

The feel of the character is good, and the torso has a convincing sense of volume. Face is cool...

I agree the feet are large and I think the upper part of the legs are too short - maybe the shoulder is a bit boney.

I like the inverted bow on the legs, cuz they can do that, but maybe it is a bit exaggerated - adds to the feel of the pose.

I can see from your post about the work of El Coro that you are educated in some form of writing. Oddly you are not educated in art as much as you would like for us to think. You drawing of the woman is flawed in more ways than I would like to count. Your line quality is poor, you proportions are off and she doesn't feel like she is leaning against the bar. I would take a few more passes before painting it or maybe you could study more art by El Coro.

i thnk that the pic looks great even the legs, but ive seen legs like before only girls can bend there legs like that though i thnk it has something to do with their bone structure.
