I have just uploaded my fist web site.All the directory pages are there but no art as yet.I will be adding my art in the next couple of days.I posted this here because it is not finished yet and would realy like any thoughts on it(I know it is a little lame but it is my first) Well here is the link (http://www.angelfire.com/art2/brassel_designs/)

dude your links to enlarge your pics dont even work--they take me to anglefire-

the work is not bad---i cant really crit until the site is more organized

the text on your splash page is hard to read. Actually, I didn't know what it said until I clicked to the next page where I could read "Bassel Design." I would just eliminate the splash page. Start your viewers right at the content.

Always present information on a web page in an explicit, and fast way. On your main page, the links to your sections should have some sort of text explaining what they are. The icons are not a quick enough read, especially since they all have the same composition.

Please eliminate the scrolling text in the status bar. Keep your design simple. If anything in the design can be thrown out, you should seriously consider throwing it out.

I'd also work on a stronger, consistant nav that works the same on your main page and subpages. I didn't even notice the arrows on the subpages, and kept using the back button to return to the main page.

Those are the big things I notice at first. I'm not trying to be harsh, just helpful. I think your site will turn out nice. Have fun with it :)
