Hey!
Today i have a post that i have worked on quite for a while, over a couple of days so to say, and im pretty happy with the result!
The thought behind the piece is that the big guy use his staff to throw the little guy at his enemies, and that little fella slash and kick them to smitherines! =)
That concept were revieled in the middle of the work process and i really like the idea, would be fun to see this little team in action hehe, Anyway i hope you enjoy it to!

Hey!
Today i'll just post some Loomis arm studies, the loomis original shows the different muscles but I tryed to render them as if they had skin, some muscles are over definated I belive, but otherwise i think it came out pretty well!

Those arm studies look great, as do the hand studies. Nice portrait, especially for being done at such a small size. :) The character design is pretty nifty (nice skull). Is that a puppy he's wearing?! :D Love the little gnome guy.

Gridur, bud--great to see you back! First off, let me offer a big congratulations on the birth of your second! Boy? Girl? I have three of my own, so I understand how it can affect the old "drawing time". I'm fortunate in that my two youngest (1 year and almost three) love to just sit and watch me draw. Of course, as soon as they are able to recognize what I'm drawing, that'll end! LOL
Your art's looking great, man. Those arms look incredible--love the technique on them. And the guy with the little gnome on a chain looks sweet.
Keep posting, bud--I'll keep checking back.

Tryed out working some with ink linework tonight, and damn I love it, its really something that i can consider continue with...
The goat is Shub-Niggurath that is renounced in the Necronomicon myths, I will try making some more known characters from this book, like Tiamat and Chuthulu and some deep ones just for fun ;)
Hope you like it, and look at this as a wip, will try to work in some watercolors into it later on!
Tomoran: Hey, thanx for stopin by! It's a girl so now i have 2 daugthers =) and the old one is about 19 months old now. Runa (the oldest one) cant watch me draw, she goes loco so i have to use the nights for drawing sessions these days hehe.
Well lets hope they'll dont grow up to fast then hehe ;)

Hey!
My sb is alittle bit dissfunctionable at the moment, some censor bugs is doing so that the adress from where i put all my images gets censored out, wich makes all my post non working...
I hope that this will be fixed soon, but until then I have to use my old webspace...
Todays post is a wip on the Shub-Niggurath image i posted last time, I think this one will be finished soon and then I'll try continue doing a couple more Necronomicon inspirated pieces...
bhanu: Thanx for the post =)
Yeah, i have utilised the latest purchase to use as a reference point, the books name is Atlas of Animal Anatomy for the Artist, a very good book with very nice illustration on bone, muscle and skin on animals =)
Yupp CA is a great place, been here a couple of years now and it still is a great source of inspiration all the time =)
Thanx!
