Johnny78 ,as to your questions,I firstly do a sketch work, then I use the black line to cover the sketch ,and finally delete the sketch, that's all I did. Loving all of these man.. specially the detail on the dragon.. sweeet!

Critique wise I don't think you've nailed the Were Wolf yet though.. He seems to fuzzy and cute compared to the rest of your dark creatures... It's not how I personally imagine a werewolf at all.. way to fluffy and perfect fur for something that scrounges aroudn gouging humans and animals alike and feeding on there blood.. fur needs to be more matted with dirt and blood maybe... and maybe the blood in his hand could stand to use a few more shades of crimson in there.. It's only that bright red in very small amounts like when you pick a zit or something.. if it's all up and down his arm that means he's been lashing at something and tore into them pretty good so the blood would be thicker and darker.. THINK LIKE YOU ARE THE WOLF!! =D

I have a kind of feeling that you're changing your style, dalian :) and of course in a good way.
But there's a little weirdness of the girl's propotion. The upper part of her chest looks a bit too narrow and the lower part looks a bit too chubby.

thing I might crit..would be the backgrounds...there's not much going on...or a fully realized place of reference with the exception of the seal creature and then I understand that you are focusing on the creature itself. But overall, my god..you are phenomenal..5 stars bro...all the way.

Great stuff you got here. Some of your creatures are really amazing. I would suggest working with some lightly textures backgrounds or with some brushstrokes. Your amazing concepts lose some of its quality with the "too clean" backdrops.

Very nice stuff here. First time I see it, you creatures are great and I like your painting tecnhique. But most of all I like your lines, I think they are very clean and smood.
Though, that Lynx up have posted, I think it is comming along good but right now I think it looks a little artificial, maybe it is because the body is yet more blurred than the head.
Anyway, good stuff.

Hey Bud,
Colorize and add blue fur to this latest creature and give it a thrird eye - submit to the current creature of the week (COW).
Recent updates are really nice, but post 204 has some wonky anatomy in the neck especially and the torso to arm interaction is distorted. Just my two cents.

Oh very very nice sketchbook, your linework is incredibly efficent :)
Some of your paintings are great but others fall into a veeery dodge and burn type trap. I think you need to make sure you treat your colour like "paint" and not like a colouring wash thrown over the top.

Nice drawings... It's as if I'm waiting for you to get into the finer details, you've got a great semi basic shape and some nice basic details and if you give them the ultra fine details it could turn out even more cool.

Hey man! god to see all your recent works, as usual I love it. Hey just how you said you want ideas - the indian warroir you drew May 19th, he looks like he has maori tatoos on his face. Me being a New Zealander reckon you should go futher with that idea. check out Rusty's work (NZer too), and also Jason Manley has done a wicked design of a moari warrior, you should check 'em out.

Very good eye for design, detail and colouring. Your creatures are sheerly impossible, imaginitive, beautiful and often seeming on the cusp of actual realization. Your skill with digital colouring leaves me envious.

Do watch out for your proportions on the human body, however. Occasionally you make the head smaller than it should be, which gives a very weird effect for the viewer.
