Hey there! I'm pretty new to this site but from what I've seen it looks like a great place to share my stuff, ang get feedback.
Ok, I did this dragon a while ago. I was going for a kinda skeletal look. For the most part I like the way that it came out, especially the shadowing.

on shadows/rendering: try to have a definite lightsource and stick to it. right now i see light coming from different angles and it does not help to absorb the image as a whole. also try to use a wide range of values, going from pure white to as dark as possible, without forgetting the hundreds of shades in between. right now i see two or three levels of grey at most, again not helping with showing the pic as a whole.
nice job on the composition! anatomy needs some in-depth studies as you go, but you know.. one step at a time.. keep posting!

Hyver is right.
Some tips:
- Before you do a sketch like this, draw the creature from the front and side so you know what your dealing with.
- Use values and contrast level to indicate distance. The further waway, the less contrast.
- Do anatomy studies. Even though your working with creatures and shit, anatomy should help you understand its muscles and formulate its figure.
Keep working and keep posting. Good start!
