Anybody know of any free video hosting sites becasue im in the process of hosting my demo reel and i was just looking for a few options aslo whats the best compression!

Hmm, putfile.com should be good for your needs, and a good compression app is VirtualDub, which is free. Although it may a while to get used to.

I don't think VirtualDub actually does any compression, that's handled by a codec (compressor/decompressor, also coder/decoder), which Vdub hooks into when writing out the vid. i like VDub a lot, it's a handy utility. my pref is to use it with the Open Source XviD codec (mpeg4, i think), but it isn't as widespread as others like DivX (which costs to use, though) -- you may have to put a link to it on a site that presents your vids, or burn it onto your distribution DVD with installation instructions.
if you plan to use Quicktime (also costs), make sure you get the more recent codecs that it uses -- some of the older ones aren't nearly as efficient at compression & quality. Sorenson 3 is used by many, from what i've seen on the web, but research before writing ;)
