I went for sushi today and was quite surprised when the waitress put this in front of me.
It started to cuss at me when I got wasabi in its eye.

Geophillyx. The restaurant is called "MOW" It's some new trend in a dining experiance where they blind fold you and your supposed to eat what ever they put in front of you. But being the skeptic that I am, I peeked and saw this little monstosity before me. Those bastards tried to trick me but gave it away because they started giggling. When I saw little sushi on the plate wriggling around, I quickly placed it into a glass of water and got the F#*K out of there. I don't think I will be going back to that restaurant.
Rhynome you sick bastich. How could you eat something so cute.

All the best.

I like the individual photos as reference WAY more than a silly unfinished photomontage. I hate to say this, but Mike's right: what's the point?

I agree that a better integration was needed. Perhaps my additional texturing and re-sculpture of the pixels has done that.
As far as the significance of the concept...Have you seen this image before?

Thanks for the constructive criticism Mike.

thats funny - I had a dream once where one of those women with the neck-rings (from tribes in thailand and africa) took the rings off and the head fell off slithering away on tentacles...and then I open this thread this morning....

Mike. Regarding your most recent feedback to "SUSHI".
If I were to blend the head into the body, then that particular action would deviate away from my original vision of "SUSHI". The separation between head and body is common in all squid and I wanted to reflect that anatomical layout in my design.
Regarding the significance of the design. What is the significance of any particular personal art piece, other then an individual having the need to release an image or thought that he or she has in their head.
As far as me having to understand? I understand that when I create these images different people react to them in different ways. Some appreciate the art form and some don't. Some need a lengthly explanation as to what it represents and others take it for what it is.
The image was created as a basic guide for what will ultimately be translated into a 3-dimentional representation.
Hope this puts your mind at ease.
