FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO START OF BY SAYING I'M A GRAFFITI ARTIST WHO'S BEEN PAINTING FOR OVER 20 YEARS I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO ART SCHOOL I THINK MY TIME FOR SCHOOL HAS CAME AND GONE. I THINK VERY HIGHLY OF MANY ARTIST IN THIS FORUM WHO'S WORK HAS INSPIRERD ME TO CONTINUE WITH DRAWING A LITTLE BIT MORE LATELY. MY WEAPONS OF CHOICE ARE UNI-BALL PENS, SHARPIES AND PRISMA MARKERS. I HOPE A CAN GET A GOOD PUSH IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. MAYBE IT'S NOT TOO LATE FOR ME AFTER ALL.....

I am liking the style a lot :D. You seem to really know what you are comfortable with, and what you are doing. I might suggest studying some anatomy, but for all i know, you could be putting your own unique spin on it. These kick my butt. The first picture on the second post though, her right hip seems a bit large. Sexy stuff ( All of it! )!. Kicks my butt! Keep it up! :D.

Good stuff LabRat, we need more 12ozers here. Maybe if you work on a comic that will help you get all your skills up. You would have to develop characters, their environments(office, outdoors, at sea.. .) the different times of day and weather, and so on. Its a lot of work actually but for someone like you i think it would work real good. Take a look at character sheets as well, where you draw a character and completely develop how they look from different views, actions, and facial expressions. Keep it up!

I like the boobies. Some things I think that would help you are would be tons of anatomy studies from books and what not. Try to get a better sense of propotion and forms, I do know that some of these are exaggerated on purpose. The better idea you have of forms of the body, the better the renderings of that for will look. Its never too late, just keep working hard and smart and you will get there. Good luck with your work.

The graffiti sketches are really cool. As said earlier, study your anatomy.
Its never too late for art school...but I don't advise that you go to college to study art. especially if you are interested in figurative art. I have been to college, got my degree in illustration and currently go to Watts Atelier and learned more in the short period that I have been at Watts than my entire life. Check out the ateliers on artrenewal.org if you think you might be interested in traditional training.

Didn't know you were into comic books and the sort. Really nice stuff you have in your SB. Your coloring with regular markers is comparable to some pro guys digital colors!
My favorites are your Subway Art cover, the Fat Chick sticker and the robot dude with the goofy hat.
It really is never too late to go to school, it just depends on your situation and if you can manage it.
I'd say get some solid fundamentals under your belt: anatomy, light & shadow, composition...and you'll be on your way.
see u around, peace.
