Here's my latest work. I decided to create an unlikely arena battler. A small fellow, who's shy demeanor more often than not, catches an overconfident opponent off-guard. -- Basically, he pays no heed to his surrounding until severely provoked.

This one started in the inprog forum.

My concern with my work has been that its stiff and maybe a little flat too. I'd love some more expression to the way its painted. Does any one have any good resources or tips to lead me in that direction for my next effort?

What I don't understand is that this fella looks GIGANTIC. But the stuff at his feet (can+apple core ?) provide size relation references and make me confused.
Other than that the mix of creatures is interesting.
